What we do with survey feedback

  1. Monthly Reports. Reports are automatically sent each month to Department and Division Managers.

  2. Real-time Satisfaction Alerts. We are notified whenever you request follow-up so we can quickly respond, provide additional information and correct any service deficiencies.

  3. Strategic Service Delivery Enhancements. Review and analysis of data and trends has led to the recommendation of multiple service delivery enhancements to improve customer experience.

We heard you!

Here are some examples of what we have done with survey data:

  1. Easier NTMP Application Process. In additional to faxing, you can now email an NTMP application to us.

  2. Tax & Licensing Forms and Information – You can now easily locate Tax and Licensing in two simple steps: ‘Online Services’ and then ‘One-Stop for Tax & Licensing.’

  3. Report-A-Code Violation tool improvements – We added drop down menu options for ROW Obstruction, Garbage Can Storage and Dead Trees on Private Property to make it easier to report these code violations online.

  4. No Longer Own a Pet? – You no longer need to call us. We created an online form so you can tell us when you no longer own a pet.

Why we conduct surveys

  1. Discover what matters to you. We use surveys to try to learn what is important to members of our community.

  2. Include your opinion in the decision process. Surveys help us develop sensible decisions based on your feedback.

  3. Compare results. Survey results provide us with a snapshot of our performance levels and your attitudes about our service delivery. This data is used to measure and compare results over time. Customer Satisfaction rates for many of our service areas are a critical component of the metrics gathered for the City’s Key Performance Measures program which helps the City remain open and transparent to the public about City operations.
